Hailing from Italy, the "Lady of Bayfield Hall" (more commonly known as Lady Bacardi, or just Monika Bacardi or, recently, "The Queen of Charity") has become quite a personality in contemporary cinematic circles throughout the EU and the USA. "Fondation AVEC", "amfAR" (Making AIDS History Association) and the Monaco Red Cross are just some of the many charitable organisations that she helps, along with carrying out oceanographic studies and getting engaged in countless other philanthropic activities. English, Italian, Spanish, French and German are all tongues that Monika Bacardi speaks fluently whilst, in the Arts arena, she is also looked upon as one of the most influential businesswomen.

As a result of her respected status in the arts arena and her good reputation as a humanitarian, Monika Bacardi devotes some of her time to film festivals, award ceremonies and charitable presentations. Lord Luis Bacardi (Lord of Bayfield Hall) was a relative of the creator of the Bacardi Company. He and Lady Bacardi married and had a lovely daughter together. Supporting the causes and charitable entities which are to her liking consumes much of Monika Bacardi's free time.

With a desire to promote the art of cinema the world over, AMBI Pictures seeks to make commercial films for viewers across the globe. One reason she set out to create AMBI Pictures is that she wished to encourage young filmmakers, due to her strong interest in "The Seventh Art" (Cinema). Amis de l'Opera, which Monika Bacardi fervently supports, has helped l'Opera de Monte Carlo for over thirty years. Photography and modern art are Monika Bacardi's interests; she enjoys the work of many artists and photographers.

Monika & the SAS Prince Albert II of Monaco's Foundation

Heightening the consciousness of the impact people's pursuits have on our planet is something that Monika Bacardi tries to accomplish via the foundation. Encouraging environmentally-friendly behaviour is a major part of her modus operandi, which is the reason that she backs the H.S.H. Prince Albert II Foundation. A wide variety of humanitarian matters are of great significance to her. One, in particular, in which she is active is eco-sustainability. Monika Bacardi has been involved in a variety of projects with the Prince Albert II of Monaco Foundation.

Learning assistance for children who are in need is provided by Mission Enfance. Monika Bacardi strongly believes in this charity. Fondation AVEC, Gabrielle's Angel Foundation for Cancer Research and Ecoute Cancer Réconfort are amongst the cancer-related charitable organisations that she is behind. Monika's benevolent activities are motivated by her lifelong compassion for humanity. Monaco’s cultural and charity movements are things in which Monika Bacardi is very engaged.
